These great tours depart from the "Point of Origin" in Campus Martius Park or the Detroit Riverfront throughout May, June, July, August and September.

 The World is still coming

Beginning summer of 2005, Detroit began to transform its image.  And that transformation started right here, with us city and metro-area residents.

We've rediscovered our city, our region and our identity.

We're shedding that rustbelt image.  We're regaining our identity as a center of innovation, creativity, excitement and energy.

The positive energy spawned from the Ryder Cup, MLB All-Star Game, the Detroit Tigers, Super Bowl XL - it's just the beginning.

Detroit will continue to welcome the world through marquee events such as:

    • 2008 AAU Junior Olympic Games
    • 2008 PGA Pro Tour
    • 2008 NCAA Sweet 16 and Elite 8 Rounds
    • 2009 NCAA Final Four
    • 2009 NCAA Frozen Four

And no one is more important to the world's experience than we.

Our enthusiasm about where we call home.

Our feelings of pride. See the change.

That first-hand experience of all metro Detroit has to offer.

The stuff only "natives" know.  The firsts and the bests.

It's all about us. The world is coming to Detroit.
