    • Michigan Sports Hall of Fame -Located in the Cobo Conference & Exhibition Center in Detroit, if features bronze busts, plaques and photographs of 195 Michigan athletic greats, including Ty Cobb, Hank Greenberg, Al Kaline, Dave Bing, Bobby Layne, Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsay, Sparky Anderson, Scotty Bowman, Barry Sanders, President Gerald R.     • Memorial to Joe Louis -This two-ton, 24-foot sculpture of an arm and fist suspended above the streets of Woodward and Jefferson was built in 1986 by Robert Graham to honor heavyweight-boxing champion Joe Louis.
    • Hockeytown Café -From a life-size statue of Gordie Howe to a 1962 Zamboni to signatures of Red Wings heroes, this 24,000-square-foot Detroit restaurant/bar pays tribute to Red Wing players and fans. For more information, call (313) 965-9500.
